A d| Yesterdays vibe was a good one! Im at the brand new Cabin Walk at @newtonhall and it is absolutely amazing. I thought it would be like glamping but it’s the most luxury glamping i’ve ever done. Our cabin is like a hotel room, with a terrace, hot tub and fire pit outside. We spent hours in the hot tub with nibbles and wine while Arthur pottered around - they are dog friendly. A glimpse of some of the Walwick Hall rooms that were given a beautiful upgrade at the start of this year. They redecorated the bar, lobby, drawing room and dining room, and they’ve gone bold with bright colours and plush decor. It’s fabulous!🦌
I enjoyed afternoon tea there as part of my stay at Chester’s Stables last weekend (there’s more coming on that I promise in July).

The Red House in Whitley Bay now do cocktails, this was a raspberry and pineapple martini. Would v much recommend. 🍸 I shared a little guide to pubs in Whitley Bay last month that included the Red House, so I’ll link it in stories today 🍻

I’ve been spending a lot of time on my blog these last couple of months, Im talking a post a day over there as so many of the questions and DMs I get are from people outside of Newcastle planning a visit and wanting to know info that to be honest I just take for granted, especially about the coast. It’s much quicker to whack a blog link over especially when I write such detailed responses back it really takes time, and I was finding I didn’t have the blogs to do it!
So that’s what I’ve been doing, lots of lists, lots of guides, lots of random questions answered and lots of writing. I feel like instagram has suffered a little as a result of time spent elsewhere but that’s ok. Instagram could be deleted tomorrow but my blog won’t be and Im really seeing a difference in views 🧐 cheers to that.

Ad| You may remember from past posts, I’ve always wanted to stay at Chester’s Stables, the luxury self catering suites and cottages that were once real working stables back in the 19th Century. This weekend it’s become a reality!
Now they’re owned by @walwickhall giving a self catered, dog friendly option to stay but with all the benefits of the hotel available to you - even down to booking breakfast, having dinners delivered to you, and access to all the facilities.
They’re absolutely stunning, a word I save for when it’s really deserved!
