ad| The @fenwickofficial Beauty Hall revamp is complete and a glow up they have had ✨

It’s beautiful feels so much more open and easy to browse through all the counters. There’s a really big perfume area with lots of new ones, I made a beeline last night for the Jo Malone Christmas selection that’s now available, but the beauty counters…🥹

We finally have some of the high end brands we’ve been missing including Carolina Herrera, Hourglass and Trinny London, mixed in with all the ones we had previously. The Tom Ford section is absolutely stunning.

I’m going to be honest it’s a much more enjoyable experience browsing in there with the space, the lighting and the whole shopping experience than a certain other beauty spot recently launched. It’s obviously different markets but you just don’t feel rushed or packed in or hassled.

Along with the food hall, restaurants like Hyem, and the new opening of Elan and the Barbour Cafe @fenwickofficial really are in their thriving era right now 🤩

EL&N Cafe has arrived in Newcastle 🌸

Ad| I’ve been to a couple of the @elan_cafe branches in London including in Selfridges so knew it would be cute when I heard they’re opening in @fenwickofficial ☕️

And it is! I was at the preview evening last night where we sampled some of the menu including cocktails and coolers:

🍸 Ombré Passion Fruit Cooler, Strawberry Chemex Mojito, Pistachio Spanish Latte and a strawberry and matcha welcome drink. They’re all a bit different but delicious.

🍫 Food wise we had Caesar Salad, Mushroom & Cheese Melt Cube, Nutella French Toast and Pistachio & Rose Cake. It was all really good but the nutella french toast…🤤 this was my favourite and that’s really saying something as I’m not usually a sweet person. Divine.

🎂 They’re obviously known for their decadent fancy cakes, pastries and patisserie counter and as you can see they have a big selection of the most perfect looking selection to choose from, as well as filled croissants.

I wasn’t sure how it would fit given the bright, airy, neon and pink vibe they have but it’s part of the new Fenwicks beauty hall which has seriously levelled UP ⬆️ (more on that tonight! 💄) and it really works.

I think they’ve got the location perfect and it’s a great match(a) ✨

They officially open tomorrow 🌸🥂☕️

Brocksbushes Farm Shop 🎃

The difference in @brocksbushes_farm_shop now compared to what it used to be is crazy - it’s huge! We had a look round on Sunday and there’s so much more. The usual fruit and veg, a pies and pastries counter, butchers, local jars of jams, chutneys, spices etc. I enjoyed the frozen fruit you can scoop yourself.

There’s a lot of seasonal decor stuff about as well as some normal home sections, and a very small Christmas wall at the moment but I’m sure that will expand after pumpkin picking is finished.

🎟️ Tickets for their Christmas fair went on sale on Monday and the Saturday afternoon was already limited availability if you’re looking to go

The cafe is much bigger too with table service, outside seating and they do a bloody good milkshake.

Enjoy if you’re visiting for the pumpkin patch over the next few weeks 🍂

Fenwicks 🤝🏼 Barbour: Opens 9am today!

I was invited to celebrate the opening of Barbour’s Tea & Toasties cafe in @fenwickofficial Newcastle last night, and it’s here to enjoy until Christmas!

It brings together all things local - Barbour was founded in the North East back in 1894, and in honour of the 30year anniversary of their Liddlesdale jacket, Fenwicks are hosting the pop up serving:

🫖 Ringtons tea, coffee hot chocolates also on the menu
🧀 a selection of toasties including the ‘Tyne & Moor melt’, ‘Howay the Ham’, and the ‘North Sea Scran’. I can confirm these are melt in your mouth heaven with Doddingtobs cheese
🍰 sweet treats including the tartan chocolate brownie, pistachio and cherry macaron and the quilted barbour cupcakes
🍸 a selection of cocktails, wine and soft drinks
👧🏻 they even do a kids lunchbox deal with a toastie, brownie, crisps and juice for £8

The cafe itself is gorgeous, with quilted walls, tartan cushions in the sofa, and corner views looking out over Waterstones and Monument. It’s going to be so cosy over the next few months as we creep closer to Christmas. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
